Is this global for everything? I think it's also a problem with file
sharings. I'm mounting ntfs shares of another box with iso encoding. On
my RH9 I have problems with the German umlaute.

So should I use a iso encoding for my new fileserver that should run on
RH9? Also Windows Clients will connect.

Thank you.
