The default install should add a grub entry for booting into win2k
(assuming win2k was insatlled before linux). I have the following in
my /boot/grub/menu.lst

#boot=/dev/hda2
default=0
timeout=10
splashimage=(hd0,1)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Red Hat Linux (2.4.20-9)
        root (hd0,1)
        kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.20-9 ro root=LABEL=/
        initrd /initrd-2.4.20-9.img
title DOS
        rootnoverify (hd0,0)
        chainloader +1
