Should I use APIC Mode on my RH9 system? (This would involve recompiling the 2.4.20 kernel, with 'Local APIC support on uniprocessors' turned on and turing on APIC Mode on my Epox 8RDA+ motherboard) Would I get any performance increase? Other than the small help paragraph in the Linux kernel build help system, where are there better docs on APIC and Linux? Richard
