gnome menu editing

After various researches I've found some hints and tried that :

#: cd /etc/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules

#: cp default-modules.conf default-modules.conf-bak

#: cp default-modules.conf.with-menu-editing default-modules.conf

$: mkdir ~/.gnome2/vfolders

$: cd ~/.gnome2/vfolders

$: cp /etc/X11/desktop-menus/applications.menu applications.vfolder-info
(and for system-settings, preferences, start-here, server-settings)

start a new session and found that contextual menu editing works :)

but in Nautilus-2.2.3-2 (rawhide) only "Applications/Other" appears when I access start-here
also the Gnome main menu have lost Help, Home and Server entries

What step am I missing ?
