I am typing this on an RH9 with nforce2 chipset.  You have to edit
NVidia's patches in order to exclude the audio part.  It is no longer
needed since Redhat9's kernel supports it out of the box and in addition
it will cause trouble.  The only thing you need is the ethernet part.
