Hmmm, I wouldn't call anyone a 'jack fool'. The person who packaged the perl binaries probably watches this list with great interest and may not be willing to help you if you launch into little nasties. Many of the Red Hat developers do answer a civil question when asked politely and if they have the time. They probably feel like answering the nicely put questions first. A better, more profitable activity might be to install the *src.rpm and study the spec file. Then study the Perl sources. Learn from the wizards.
