That worked! Thanks! What is weird is that I had looked in
~/.thumbnails/normal and ~/.thumbnails/fail and in neither of them were
the thumbnails for the new movie files which did have thumbnails, and so
I concluded that those weren't the relevant directories. Nevertheless,
deleting both of them did indeed regenerate all my thumbnails.
