After a few hours of tinkering and learning more about pcmcia I finally got my Xircom Credit Card Wireless Ethernet Model CWE1100 to work in shrike. All I had to do was add card "Xircom Wireless Network Adapter" manfid 0x0105, 0x0007 bind "airo_cs" to /etc/pcmcia/config There wasn't anything on Google so I'm posting it here so it is in the aims search results and on google.
