I agree, this list is a good place for this problem. Although it may
well be a config on the mandrake

Now, lets see some output instead of what is going into your config
files

The bare necessities would be:

1) A brief ascii diagram of your network.
2) netstat -nr on both machines
3) iptables -nL 
   iptables -t nat -nL
   (From both machines)

Anything posted should be clearly marked which machine it is from.

To really analyze this you may have to run tcpdump on both interfaces
of the mandrake while trying to connect to someting online, from the
redhat machine.  Maybe just a ping of your internet gateway.  In brief
something on the outbound side of mandrake.

See if anything (or what) is getting to the output interface of mandrake.

Something like:  tcpdump -v -l -i $out_iface|grep 'REDHMACH_ADDRESS'
 (on the mandrake)
  Piping the output thru a grep on you redhat address
