u are right DNS is nt working.
I went on another machine, typed dig
www.yahoo.com obtained IP and then when i
wrote the IP in my browser, it worked
Well to run DNS i went on a shell wrote setup and in the system services
i could not find DNS.
also i went to cd /etc/init.d/
i could not find a DNS script there.
I am sure there is a service enabler fr DNS in Red hat 9 shrike
How can i enable DNS service.
