Hi, Me and my friends are buying one with a little different specifications (the 2450-S402 model) which is available for the Arabian Gulf (Middle East and Asia) region. We installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 (still I'm waiting for my copy of RH 9 to arrive) and also installed Windows XP professional and Windows 200 Advanced server. Mandrake had no problem at all in recognizing all the hardware, but the other two barely detected the display!!! Still, if you visit the website you'll find almost every single thing that you need a driver for, but unfortunately only for Windoze! http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_modItemList.jsp?ProductMenu_0=Portables&ProductMenu_1=Satellite&ProductMenu_2=380611&BV_SessionID=@@@@1271603350.1056261167@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadcijekijgfcgfkceghdgngdgll.0&moid=380611&smoid=true&ct=DL&ListType=Model&x=22&y=13 Still, if you Google a bit, you'll find _so_ many resources, in here http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22Toshiba%22+and+%22Linux%22 I hope this is helpful.
