Re: Name Resolve

As far as I know I'm not running named. I am not using
sendmail (at least it was never my intention) for the
host name. I really don't have a qualified domain
name.
This is where I'm a little bit fuzzy.
If I named this machine "bonsai", does this something
got setup to send mail to this domain?

Are you running named?
Are you using sendmail to recieve mail to your domain?

my hosts file is just:
127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain
and then I have named set up for my IP address.
