Hi This is about the well-known, classic, traditional rpm hangs bug. When I tried to install a rpm from shrike it hanged. Kill -9 had no effect. Removing /var/lib/rpm/__db* and rebuilddb didn't work first time, with the hanged rpm process still there. It worked after a reboot. I see no open bugs about rpm hanging. RH Engineers, what info would be useful to track down this critical bug? The problem is that it's not replicable. Is there a way to always run rpm with a debugging mode? -- Marius Andreiana SoluÅii informatice bazate pe Linux / Linux-based IT solutions www.galuna.ro
