for those people messing with kernels, why not just move up to the 2.5.70 kernel? it seems to be reasonably stable, and you'll at least get a look at what's coming down the road with 2.6. i've been using the latest version for several weeks now, with not a glitch. besides the latest kernel source from www.kernel.org, you'll need the latest (rawhide) version of the modutils RPM, which can handle both 2.4 and 2.5 kernels. give it a shot. rday -- Robert P.
