why not just move up to 2.5.70 kernel?

for those people messing with kernels, why not just move
up to the 2.5.70 kernel? it seems to be reasonably stable,
and you'll at least get a look at what's coming down the
road with 2.6. i've been using the latest version for
several weeks now, with not a glitch.

besides the latest kernel source from www.kernel.org, you'll
need the latest (rawhide) version of the modutils RPM, which
can handle both 2.4 and 2.5 kernels.

  give it a shot.
