If I really need a modem under Linux I have a V92 PC Card that I could just plug in. Nowadays who really uses a modem anymore?? In the last year every hotel I've stayed at has a ethernet connection(hardwire or WiFi), or a McDonalds/Starbucks is not too far away... Greg Greg
