Has anyone noticed that the rup program (from rusers-0.17-25.i386.rpm) on RedHat Linux 9 does not work correctly when a single host (or a list of hosts) is provided on the command line? rup with no arguments which results in a broadcast rup request) does operate correctly. rup did operate correctly in RedHat 8.0 and 7.3. The version of rup compiled under RedHat Linux 7.3 works correctly under RedHat Linux 9, even though it is dynamically linked. I am not able to test the version compiled under RedHat Linux 8.0. Anyone have any ideas?
