I am trying to install Oracle on a Toshiba notebook running Shrike (2.4.18.9 kernel). It gets hung very early in the process either trying to install Java or right after installing Java. The error log shows the following message - java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/OraInstall2003-07-10_03-56-33PM/libactionUnix22.so: /tmp/OraInstall2003-07-10_03-56-33PM/libactionUnix22.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary0(ClassLoader.java:1419) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1314) plus a lot more up until Java.lang.Thread.run. It looks to me like it's complaining about errno not being found. Is this a setup issue in the install of RH9? Is this something I need to reinstall? Appreciate any help...
