well, I tried to install and configure my 'internal "Generic Voice 56K"' modem...... First, the internet wizard do not recognize the modem, so I defined it as /dev/modem (and later /dev/ttys0), the procedure ended properly, but when I run kppp the status says something like 'Initializing modem' and the log window is empty and 'Expect:Ok.' appears at bottom..... before that nothing happens...

What canI do now?! :(

You can do this with kppp or more directly with redhat-config-network
and activate it with he modem lights applet.

Try it. If you get in trouble ask again.
