Notice the publication date on those 3 books? October 2003.  It is a pre-order, they're not avalible until 17th, 20th and 30th October (depends which book)

Barnes & Noble probably assume that by October, RedHat version 10 (hench the X) will be released and the authors would have updated and re-released the books they wrote on 9 to incorporate 10.
