I know related questions have been asked before on this list, but I understood there was never really a consensus. What is the correct/prefered method under Red Hat 9 of giving normal users access to the cd-writer in your computer? i.e; so that when they want to use a burn-program like xcdroast or gtoaster, they won't have to type in the root password.
