I've just got to add my 2 euro cents to this thread.. While i applaud the original author's flair and originality in his question, it looses serious points in clarity and might even seem somewhat distastefull to some. Ps, if the original question was "I can not run netscape 7.x on rh9" then see the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL hint below (ie: run it with like "LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19 /usr/bin/netscape"), for most apps that break on the newer glibc features that is the defacto fix. If the question relates to netscape 4.x (i thought that might've been the intent due to the 'netscrape' reference, a term often used in the 4.x times) then the awnser is to install the compat_*-7.3-*.rpm packages. Even then there's a static and non-static motif version of it, if your using the non-static version, you'll also need lesstif or openmotif installed, but using the static linked one might save you a lot of headaches. And please Anthony, try to be a little more clear and descriptive in future mails to the list (what version? what have you tried? where does it go wrong?) and less artistic (netscrape? hairless possum in freezing rain?) which will be helpfull for both you and the rest of us ;-) -- Chris ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rodolfo J.
