Numeric pad strange issue

Hi,

I have a strange issue with the numeric pad in RHL9.

When I try to edit the '.' key (Canc) what it's really printed is a ','.

So, for example, editing:

	192.168.0.1

print:
	192,168,0,1

What is more strange is that this probelm only occurs in gtk2
application (es: gnome-terminal or gedit)

I'm using the italian keybord layout.

Any comments? Should I file this as a bug?

Thanks in advance,
Mario
