Hi all,
Sys Info:
- Athlon XP 2100+
- Asus A7S333 motherboard (latest 1005 BIOS)
- 512Mb DDR RAM
- Nvidia GeForce 3 Ti 200 64Mb DDR
Operating System:
- Red Hat 9 with latest errata
- Custom install, all Gnome no KDE at all
Third Party Drivers:
- Nvidia 43.49 graphics driver, using kernel AGPGART.
Apps open when event occurred:
- nautilus
- gaim
- gnome terminal
- xchat
The Event:
All apps seemed to focus and the screen went black for a second and then
reappeared. Once the screen had reappeared, all windows were lower on
screen with the lowest pre the outage now touching the gnome panel.
I have attached my .xsession-errors as a text file, just in case.
Anyone else experienced this phenomena or have any insight?
Note: This never occurred on 8.0 and has only happened once for me - So
far. :/
