I've got shrike on 6 boxes now, most of them in a server room but there is one at work and one at home where I can do a lot of desktop stuff -
One issue here seems to be biting me though - in the eternal quest for more speed, I did a "prelink -av", and logged out of X and back in - everthing seemed snappy, but the gnome logout button would not work.
I pressed the gnome logout button a number of times, and figured I ought to try undoing the prelink -
before the "prelink -vu" command finished, the gnome logout dialog popped up, meaning the un-prelinked version works while the prelinked version is broken. A shame, since I was really looking forward to the speedups -
What am I missing here? Is this the normal experience?
