Resolved! VMware doesnt like something about Shrike's floppy driver. In
the virtual machine's bios I moved the floppy below the hard drive in
the boot sequence and the vm boots. I am able to run WinXP and Win2K in
VMWare Workstation 4.0 Beta under Shrike. This was my only show stopper
for migrating. 

BTW wonderful job on this release Red Hat!
