1) the installation guide, section 1.4.2, describes how to create an installation boot CD-ROM. i notice that the stock CD 1 images/ directory contains a "boot.iso" file. is it reasonable to assume that this iso image is created by basically following those instructions, so you don't actually have to do it yourself? 2) are there updated instructions for combining the CD images into a single DVD image? can you do a hard-drive install using just a DVD image? rday
