Umm... fdisk shows that /dev/hda has 255 heads and /dev/hdd has 16 heads.
That explains the cylinder difference.  The BIOS says they both have 16
heads. There is no BIOS update to the Shuttle SK41G.  I don't know if this
is a linux bug or a BIOS bug.  To me the BIOS looks right.
