The RH 8.0 files are written and produced for Red Hat Linux 8.0.  The RH9 
files are written and produced for Red Hat Linux 9.  Some (most) Red Hat 
Linux 8.0 packages will work on Red Hat Linux 9, but I don't think any RHL 9 
packages will work on RHL 8.0, except for the noarch packages.
