[root@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx memtest86-3.0]# make gcc -E -traditional head.S -o head.s make: gcc: Command not found make: *** [head.s] Error 127
Is this telling me it can't find gcc? I've tried messing with the PATH to no avail.
What have I done wrong?
do you have gcc installed? Execute this command from shell and compare it with mine..
[raj@xxxxxx raj]$ rpm -qa | grep gcc gcc-g77-3.2-7 gcc-c++-3.2-7 gcc-3.2-7 gcc-gnat-3.2-7 gcc-java-3.2-7 libgcc-3.2-7
/usr/bin/gcc is in gcc-3.2-7
