Especially once one installs th linux I assume disk druid still goes away and fdisk is what you need to use. In the same sense lilo to me is somewhat much more straight forward than grub I am saddened at its demise. Maybe this is like the emacs vs vi argument. If you understand emacs it is easy to use but the learning curve to get to use it is very steep.
