Hi Robert,

I too had problems while trying to install 4191 on RH8. I ended up
using the previous driver 3123 which works fine. 4191 worked flawlessly
on 7.3.

Subject: latest on configuring NVIDIA under 2.5 kernel?

what is the latest on NVIDIA drivers for the 2.5 kernel?
from a google search, i found www.minion.de/nvidia.html,
from which one can download a patch:

  NVIDIA_kernel-1.0.4191-2.5.63.diff

this *appears* to be a short 3-item patch against the NVIDIA
src rpm Makefile.

the first and third of those patches work, while the second
fails. it seems easy enough to fix that glitch manually, but
i'm nervous about doing that when i'm not sure why it wouldn't
patch cleanly in the first place.

is there a definitive solution involving

	NVIDIA GeForce2Go
	NVIDIA 1.0-4191 drivers
	2.5.65 kernel

(most likely involving a hacked NVIDIA driver, as the patch
seems to suggest).
