(where you can hit the F2 for the bios setup, etc..) you have to power off the machines then boot the machine again.
It seems to occur on certain models only: Dell L400 Latitude, Toshiba Tecra 4000/ 9000.
Could this be an APM issue?
fyi: when you run "init 0" it powers off. kernel = 2.4.18-24.8.0
Is there a fix for this?
