Did you use the CPAN shell, or were you trying to build/install this
manually?

I recommend the CPAN shell if you weren't using it since it has
options to satisfy dependencies that may be required.

The module perl-DB_File-1.804-55 is also available from the Red Hat
8.0 CDs.
