Thanks for sharing that info. I bought the MSI KT4 Ultra and a couple of DDR333 DIMMs, installed the new hardware, and booted up 8.0 without any hassles. The only flaw I noticed was the loss of DRI, but I got it working again after I installed the 2.4.20.2-24 kernel from phoebe2. FWIR, the AGP code needed to be changed for the KT400 and 2.4.20 kernels have the fixes in place.
