Thank you, I got it and deleted it.  It was a message saying that a
message sent 4 days ago could not be delivered to itself.  

Interesting error message.

mail

you will see an index of messages, type the number to see a message.

d1 would delete message 1

quit - well quits the mail program.

and you will be able to read it, it's most likely generated from
background processes run by the cron daemon.
