Buck, In fact this has nothing to do with MSN Messenger, but instead with a service on Win 2000 and (I assume) XP called messenger. If you aren't using the service you can disable it or block it with a firewall. Take care if you decide to disable it 'cause the docs seem to indicate that it is used in some forms of logging, but I haven't missed any of my normal logs yet....
