Dear Steve, > /etc/sysconfig/network > (HOSTNAME=yourhostname) For my site, it I have to set DHCP_HOSTNAME instead of HOSTNAME. It seems I need this entry in /etc/sysconfig/networking/devices/ifcfg-eth0 and in /etc/sysconfig/networking/profiles/default/ifcfg-etho (I'm sure it can be set via GUI as well, but dunno how).
