yes, remember that although "last", "w" & "who" don't do the reverse lookup (isn't that put in by ssh/login?) programs such as netstat will list the name of the host, meaning that the in-addr stuff is working. hmm... it appears to be only sshd, I opened up telnet and it logged the address properly.
