Could you please look into your way of quoting previous mails? It
doesn't become clear what your reply is and what the quoted parts
are?

On the command-line, run exactly:  service mysqld start

Same for stopping MySQL daemon:  service mysqld stop

It doesn't start a GUI or TUI.

Don't run "serviceconf" or anything like that.
