small glitch in 2.4.18-19.8.0 kernel??

  just downloaded the 2.4.18-19.8.0 kernel source RPM
from red hat updates, and there is one config option --

"Parallel port support" ->
  "Support for PCMCIA management for PC-style ports"

that has no default setting and, furthermore, does not
appear to be settable. has anyone else noticed this?
it causes an error upon "make xconfig" exit:

ERROR - Attempting to write value for unconfigured variable \
  (CONFIG_PARPORT_PC_PCMCIA)

rday

p.s. is there a reason bugzilla has two component
entries: one for "kernel", the other for "Kernel"?
