sendmail & trusted-users weirdness

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I added a username to /etc/mail/trusted-users, next added
define(`confCT_FILE', `-o /etc/mail/trusted-users') to sendmail.mc, then
did m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/mail/sendmail.cf and restarted
sendmail.

Yet, if I send out an email with evolution 1.2 I still see in the
headers of the recipient's email the warning: X-Authentication-Warning:
myhost: user set sender to some_other_email_address using -f

In /etc/mail/sendmail.mc I have:
define(`confCT_FILE', `-o /etc/mail/trusted-users')

In /etc/mail/sendmail.cf I see:
#####################
# Trusted users #
#####################

# this is equivalent to setting class "t"
Ft-o /etc/mail/trusted-users
Troot
Tdaemon
Tuucp

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Patrick
