Philippe: Our newest box has a Dell video card with the GeForce2 MX 400 chip on it. It is running with the Driver Psyche selected (kudzu?) during the X installation, without any problems. It's connected to a 19" Dell M991 monitor. If your Samsung monitor is using standard technology (I suspect it is, we have a Samsung TV and they make some excellent monitors) I believe the driver in Psyche will work fine with it. Run the X configuration again and give it a try.

If you can try the monitor on a different PC, or a different monitor with this video card, that should tell you where the problem is.

I had a problem with our GeForce2 MX 400 card and the Dell M991 monitor, when using MS Windows 98 SE. Extreme instability in the video. Changing refresh rates, resolution, etc., did not eliminate the problem. I reduced the Hardware Acceleration and the problem is now greatly reduced, if not eliminated. When using it with Valhalla or now Psyche, the video has always been fine, so I knew it was not a hardware problem.
