They can be replaced with one command: (make sure you remove the glibc-debug* packages first) # rpm -Uvh glibc-2.2.93-5.i386.rpm openssl-0.9.6b-29.i386.rpm \ --oldpackage That wrapped of course, so remember it's one line.
