The first CD of Red Hat Linux _is_ bootable. You do not need to do anything special to boot from it other than burning it to disk like any other ISO image, and booting from it. If it does not work then either: - your media is bad - your system is not configured properly in the CMOS or otherwise to boot from CD - there is a bug I would suspect #1 or #2 first. -- Mike A.
