hi, Thanks to all who replied to my email on alsamixer. I found the solution quite quickly after replies from my first email. The second email was not intended to be sent. though initially it was. I was having trouble with evolution and mail was not being sent. then three days later the bloody message popped up on this list.!!! well i'm trying to figure out why my mail takes three days to get from my system to the mail list.? I certainly did spot the links mailed resently for tips and tricks a big thanks goes out to the guys who have done so much work there. I as a newbie found it easy to understand and solved my prob in no time. Now back to my stupid email program and figuring out why it won't send mail imediatly. Forgive me but bring back outlook!At least it is easy to use! Cheers.
