	This reminds me about something I came across a few years ago that 
has worked well for me.  I have used this to move partitions and even 
whole disks.

	find . -print | cpio -0pduma [dest dir]

If I remember right the cpio switches are not 100% correct but it was very 
easy to figure out which one from the error it gives.
