Well, absolutely nothing works.  I put ALL the misc fonts in my ~/.fonts
directory and gun-zipped same. Ran fc-cache.  gnome-terminal still shows
no change in fonts offered.

This is frustrating as most of my work is done at the command in
gnome-terminal.  I simply want the font back as it was.
