Gnome-terminal font frustrations

I'd like to accomplish something simple; I just want
to use what is listed as Gnome-terminal's default,
normal fixed-width font:
-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal-20-200-75-75-c-100-iso8859-1.

However, I can't seem to select from the nifty new
Font list; I see no reference to this font, or
anything that might vaguely resemble it. If I run
xterm or kterm, they seem to default to this font, so
clearly it resides somewhere on my system. I haven't
found how to force gnome-terminal to do the same.

Anyone have some insight? How can I configure
gnome-terminal to display this font?
