Converting from Shift_JIS to EUC_JP

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have a CD full of files where the name is encoded in Shift_JIS, when i
try to read the file it shows invalid unicode and i can't read the file
names, i wrote a small script to convert the names from Shift_JIS to
EUC_JP but that didn't work.

Is there an easy way to convert the filenames from Shift_JIS to EUC_JP
or any other readable encoding.
thanks in advance.
