That also explains why your USB (Onboard) doesn't work. The S2466N-4M also has the onboard network card. The 4M basically means it has a 4MBit BIOS. And strangely enough, the 4M was $8.00AUS cheaper than the straight N model. Go figure!!. Well at least is has USB, and I can still add USB 2.0 via a card if I need to later. (Just like MSI did with their MS-6501) And it also works fine in Linux. (Both RH7.3 & 8.0) Cheers, Wolf |-----Original Message----- |From: HoytDuff [mailto:hoyt@cavtel.net] |Sent: Friday, 18 October 2002 04:43 pm |To: psyche-list@redhat.com |Subject: Re: Install Problem - Tyan Tiger MP mobo and Athlon 1800 MP | | |On Friday 18 October 2002 02:30 am, Wolfgang Gill scribbled in |crayon on a |yellow legal pad: |> PS: The exact model number I have is the Tyan Tiger MPX S2466N-4M. | |Ah, I have the MPX S2466 without the 4MB BIOS.
